From artisan expertise
come shapes and jewels
crafted in artistic marble.

Matter that becomes style.

Scagliola is a blend of gypsum, natural glues and pigments.
From this balance comes artistic marble: light, elegant, unique.

For over twenty years I have dedicated myself to artistic marble, an ancient craft I learned from master Silvio Dellavedova.

Over these years, I have continued to study, experiment and teach this technique: my works express the material, the colour and the care required to transform a mixture of gypsum and pigments into something truly unique.

Artistic Marble and Scagliola | Matteo Libanoro

Artistic marble, also known as artificial marble, is a technique based on the use of scagliola mixed with natural pigments. Born in the eighteenth century and passed down through generations of artisans, it still offers new expressive possibilities today.

Beyond traditional coverings and architectural decorations, it also finds its place in jewellery, furnishing elements and contemporary design projects.

A lightweight and elegant material capable of reproducing the veining of natural marble while offering exquisitely rich colour nuances.

Each vein is
the result of a gesture:
the material takes shape,

the colour comes to life.

Each vein is the result of a gesture:
